
Gordon Woodruff was admitted to practice in 1976 and is a founding member of Woodruff & Fortner. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, real estate, estates and guardianships, and mediation and arbitration.
A Johnston County native, Mr. Woodruff is a 1973 graduate of the University of North Carolina, where he was a Morehead Scholar. He earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was a member of Law Review. Following a clerkship with the Honorable Naomi A. Morris of the North Carolina Court of Appeals, Mr. Woodruff began his legal practice in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Mr. Woodruff is a Top-Rated Lawyer in Litigation by Martindale-Hubbell and has earned an AV Preeminent rating in both Ability and Ethics from 1996 through the present.
He is a DRC certified mediator and has conducted over 100 mediations.
